hi

refering to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-spam_techniques

anyone know how this thing work " Recurrent Pattern Detection (RPD)
software "

or any open source i can refer to ?

or any RPD plugin that related can install in spamassassin.?

"Recurrent Pattern Detection" is the marketing fluff word Commtouch
(now Cyren) used for their hashing algorithm.

There used to be a "Commtouch Plug-in for SpamAssassin"

https://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/CustomPlugins

It's probably obsolete by now, superseeded by some other product line.

For a client, I needed to run a trial but Commtouch made it very hard
to get a trial license so the client went for Cloudmark.

As to the concept of "Recurrent Pattern Detection", SA provide plugins
for Razor/Pyzor/DCC and you can also get the third party iXhash plugin.
They all use different methods with different results in spam/bulk
detection.

Cloudmark also offers their service via a SA plugin to replace Razor
(which is also run by Cloudmark) with better detection and extra
features at a price.
