I have an account that I have used to sign up for everything under the
sun over the past 10 years. It's a goldmine for spam. I figured I use
that to train the Bayes.

If it's not the same types of spam as your main mail accounts, it's pretty much useless for bayes training. Check. ;)

Also: Make sure you train enough ham. Bayes needs to learn what's *different* about spam and ham.
