Pointless for the main distribution package that's in the [base] and
[updates] repos.  CentOS packages what RH makes publicly available,
bug for bug, package for package.  If you want a version bump for the
main package you need to do so at Red Hat (https://bugzilla.redhat.com).

CentOS supports an [centosplus] repo for packages that overwrite those
in the [base] repo so a more modern SA could be targeted for that
repository.  I'm sure the project would welcome contributors.
