Hi,

I'm experimenting with trying to get the latest v3.4.0 svn installed on an
>> fc17 box, and it's complaining about a missing RabinKarpAccel.pm module.

Yeah, I did that :-)

The first link is to an svn file that creates the RabinKarpAccel package,
although I still don't understand what it does or where it goes.

I downloaded the latest branch from svn, and adapted the fedora 3.3.2 RPM
to work with v3.4.0.

I see there is a 'svn_only.pre" loadplugin line that can be uncommented,

The RabinKarpAccel.pm is required by the package, but isn't explicitly set
as a Require in the spec.

What is it that requires this package?

Yeah, I appreciate the help. I know that's the more stable version, but I
(usually) don't need their support, and felt like with something as fluid
as spam, a more current set of applications were needed. Don't you agree?
In other words, wouldn't I just be building a v3.4.0 RPM for CentOS or RHEL
as well?

Thanks so much for your help.

Thanks,
Alex
