I've fairly good results with this rule:

/[\:\;\/\`\(\)\{\}~\#\&\"\%\$\_][a-z0-9][\:\;\`\(\)\/\{\}\_\~\#\&\"\%\$]/im

It's realy basic and desrve a rework.
