Given that Microsoft Windows security is pretty decent these days, I doubt you'd do much good suing Microsoft. Going after Java and Adobe would be far more productive since they make products with significant security flaws.

Unfortunately the biggest problem these days is that users willingly agree and install whatever crosses their path without understanding the implications of running third party code.
