Then think about why it never has been done on snail mail.

And you need (or even want) the *sender* to *decide* that for you?

And it won't really help anyone (except the ones making money from the
snake oil "solution") because most of the ones who should set it (read:
spammers and similar bulk mailers) to a reasonable value won't do it.

So sort these mails in different folders and delete mails from these
folders on out on automatically.
