Indeed. I do not use SA at all on my company MTA, just strict settings, postgrey and zen.spamhaus.org will keep most spam out. But my personal home account, which receives mail from POP/IMAP boxes needs a content filter, there SA shines. -- If you think last Tuesday was a drag, wait till you see what happens tomorrow!
