tested this on email with
twitter-resetpw-example=domain....@postmaster.twitter.com and rule hits
fine on tests, lint likes it, compiles on some systems, but not all.
All running spamassassin 3.3.1 and re2c 0.13.5
def_whitelist_from_spftwitter-resetp...@postmaster.twitter.com
lint and sa-compile complaint (on the systems that fail).
Jun 11 11:55:40.911 [72100] warn: config: failed to parse line, skipping, in
"/usr/local/etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf": def_whitelist_from_spf
twitter-resetp...@postmaster.twitter.com
no compliant on systems that compile it.
also note, that def_whitelist_auth also works, (finds the spf hit on
most systems), but def_whitelist_dkim doesn't work.
(email is dkim signed, dkim passes. don't want to publish it publicly,
will send it privately to code maintainers)
freebsd 7.1, amd64 code (CPUTYPE=nocona)
gcc -v
Using built-in specs.
Target: amd64-undermydesk-freebsd
Configured with: FreeBSD/amd64 system compiler
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.2.1 20070719 [FreeBSD]
re2c 0.13.5
Mail-SPF-2.006
Strange thing, is that all of these that pass, and the one that doesn't
are running on the same EXACT system.
(all running in Freebsd's 'jailer' system)
I feel I am back to Sesame street rhyme" "one of these things is not
like the other". (with verse 5 and the same)
it also works on SOME i386 systems, but not all. works here: (not in jail)
freebsd 6.3, 6.4, i386 code (CPUTYPE=prescott)
gcc -v
Using built-in specs.
Configured with: FreeBSD/i386 system compiler
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.4.6 [FreeBSD] 20060305
Mail-SPF-2.005
to recap: all but ONE of the amd64, freebsd 7.1 systems in jail work.
MOST of the i386, freebsd 6.3 and 6.4 systems file (in jail and not in
jail).
where do I start looking?
adding -D line to sa-compile just echo's lints complaint.
