I do not suggest that.  Coral Cache does not play nicely with sa-update
from my experiences (I seem to recall Justin saying the same a while ago).

I've rarely had problems with it. Problems seem to depend on the quality of the cache site closest to you - in other words, YMMV. With checksumming and fallback to alternate sources on failure, I don't see any reason to avoid it by default.

Since yerp is Justin's, I presume it's a different sort of experiment.

Quite possibly. I was just speculating.
