There is no RFC requiring back and forward resolution to match. I think there's not even a requirement for an rDNS, it's just good practice. And it's not the point of discussion here, anyway. The point of discussion was "Email passed through apparent spammer domain" because of *origination* at a dynamic hinet address. I personally think this rule is misguided and maybe isn't even doing what it was intended to do. Anyway, anyone with a sane mind has stopped using most SA rules two years ago.
