If you are running sa-update from a crontab, I'd suggest you check the timestamp on 20_sought.cf to make sure it's still working. One problem I've had is that when SA is deinstalled (prior to [re]installing) the keyring directory gets removed, and so any additional keys get lost. This may be FreeBSD specific, but I can't find anything in the port files that might be doing this.
