Spamassassin port for freebsd should work just fine. I am running in inside freebsd jails (under amavisd also) And it it kept up to date (by me), and even small 'fixes' added in between revisions. Ger rid of (wipe out the jail,) get rid of the cpan stuff, all the right dependencies are tracked in the port. If you don't, then all bets are off. Easy install: cd /usr/ports/mail/p5-Mail-SpamAssassin make install (it will ask you several options about sql, db, some other options) If you have the same problem with the freebsd port, fill out a PR at www.freebsd.org/support.html -- Michael Scheidell, CTO >|SECNAP Network Security 2008,2009 Network Products Guide Hot Company FreeBSD SpamAssassin Ports maintainer _________________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned and certified safe by SpammerTrap(r).
