btw, whats the workaround for this? opendns didnt work for me as they have
similar  "features".
do you simply  query the bl's  dns service directly?

I am setup, at the moment, to provide a caching DNS that goes off to
the root name servers IFF the primary servers are not present. If they
start providing the search service I simply yank the ISP's name server
from the DNS cache configuration. I figure I could also substitute
any other nameserver I can LEGALLY attach to in place of going off to
the root servers. But they make a really good backup.
