Having swap doesn't mean that it's "intensively" used. If you keep some main
RAM free, basically only memory that isn't used is swapped out (making room
for active RAM). Flash memories and filesystems also have wear levelling
technologies you know.

Are you going to put all the mail files on tmpfs too? That will risk mail
loss. Is it just a relay? What's the point? I don't know if this setup makes
sense, but it's up to you and I think all the SA questions about memory are
answered. If you want "less wearing" setup, then it's a whole another
question.
