The way I understand it, Noel meant that there are problems that are inherent to smtp, so you can't fix them without replacing smtp.

anyway, for all what it's worth, rhyolite is not the bible. there are too many opinions and I'm happy with that, as long as people don't try to convince us that their way is the only one. Bomb Irak if that gets you elected, but count me out.
