So, the syslog report is an error that occurs in spamassassin code, but it is called by mimedefang, passed back to mimedefang, and reported by mimedefang.
Hmm. I've got a machine with SA3.2.4 and MIMEDefang; it's not showing this error. It's had sa-update run on it at irregular intervals.
Are you using any SA options relating to languages? I tried setting the same channels you're using on a test machine, and I don't get the errors you noted on running sa-update or the "languages" error you're seeing.
