yes i  follow this link to create the user http://www.debianhelp.co.uk/spam.htm

once i did that i restarted spam  with the following option

spamd  -u spamd -d -i -s /var/log/spamd.log --allowed-ips 216.xx.xx.xx


and then that error message disappeared !!! :-)
