Jeff:
Thanks. That looks promising, I do not use mutt but that gets me pretty
close. My biggest issue is incoming I process the mail on my sa |
postfix | etc setup but on the way out I let exchange handle the
traffic. I have no path from my exchange server back to my sa solution.
I am finding that getting the good mail back to SA is presenting a
problem. My bad mail is held on the SA end and never reaches the
exchange server so processing SPAM with sa learn is a breeze.

My biggest issue now is figuring a way to get the good stuff off the
exchange server so SA can learn the spam, I know I can do that with IMAP
but I am still trying to figure a way to do it without using that type
of procedure. My company is a Microsoft shop so we also have a bit of a
learning curve. I may be chasing a pipe dream though?

I have this vision of how the system is supposed to work, I am trying to
make it so simple on the end user that they really have no idea that
their mail is being filtered. Sort of like Steve Jobs doesn't want any
buttons on apple equipment, I don't want users to do anything. I am
trying to make the system as transparent as possible. My final
deployment may involve thousands of college students, therefore I wish
to have them do nothing. At this point, I have the entire system in
place and it rocks but I just haven't quite nailed my HAM dilemma.

Anyway, thank you and the rest of the community for your input.

Best Regards,
