I doubt this matters at all. I have a client whose domain got so heavily joe-jobbed years ago that we had to take his domain from dns for years. Trying after two or three years of non-resolution if it is usable again still drove in several ten-thousand non-delivery notices within a day. In other words: spammers don't care.
