SA on Mac OS X Server and updating

Hello,
I see the page at

http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/SpamAssassin_on_Mac_OS_X_Server

recommends updating SA right away. Will this cause problems with  
later Apple updates for Server? Has Apple updated SA in updates for  
Tiger Server?
