If I restart the box, it behaves normally for a few hours but then
starts having the above problems again.
How can I fix this?
Stop restarting the machine and let the expiry finish. In the meantime
you'll probably want to disable bayes auto expiry via the appropriate
setting in local.cf. After you've got it expired you can re-enable it,
or better, run it from cron.
