Hello all,

Suse 9.2, Sendmail 8.13.1, Proocmail 3.22, Spamassassin 3.1.7, Clamav 0.88.2, qpopper 4.0.5

I have one user consistently that SA seems to be putting it’s header at the very top of the email.  I posted a example at www.asccn.com/bubba/header.txt .  He is using outlook as his mail client and when this happens outlook does it’s usual and says that it is a bad password.  Qpopper logs the following

-ERR [SYS/PERM] Unable to process From lines (envelopes), change recognition modes or check for corrupted mail drop. [pop_dropcopy.c:839]

As soon as I delete all the SA headers down to the from line, he is able to retrieve his mail.  This is happening to him a couple 2 or 3 times a day.  I have had it happen to 1 other user a couple of times, but it is not that consistent for him.

My procmail is a very very basic recipe

SHELL=/bin/sh

LOGFILE=/var/log/procmail

VERBOSE=yes

LOGABSTRACT=all

DROPPRIVS=yes

SA is setup sitewide with no user config files.

Thanks
