The spamassassin tarball comes with a sample-spam.txt which makes use of the GTUBE string. If you want to generate your own by emailing yourself, any message with the GTUBE string in it should get tagged by SA: http://spamassassin.apache.org/gtube/ (GTUBE is to SA what EICAR is to virus scanners. A weird string designed to use as a test pattern to force a match on otherwise innocuous data)
