My wife and I like books like Predictably Irrationally and we were watching NOVA: Prediction by the numbers currently on Netflix. They have a section on Bayes and I learned it was named for a guy Thomas Bayes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Search_and_Rescue_Optimal_Planning_System)
