According to https://www.codetable.net/hex/200b <https://www.codetable.net/hex/200b> and https://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/200b/index.htm <https://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/200b/index.htm>, x200b is a unicode char, not just windows... and I can tell you that my MUA (Apple Mail, in this case) renders the HTML with those entities as invisible (i.e., zero-width).
