Hi, I'm sysadmin for an ISP and I installed MIMEDefang/Spamassassin (just got it working yesterday). I want to use these on a system wide basis for all of my customers.
I understand I need to train Spamassassin on what is spam and what is not via sa-learn. All of the mailboxes on this server are in mbox format. I'm wondering what might be the best way for me to do that. I could set up two mailboxes, one for spam and one for non-spam and forward examples of each to these mailboxes then run sa-learn on these. Would this work? Would the fact that all of these e-mails start out fw: make any difference? I'll bet there are some other ISP's on the list. Since I'm pretty new at Spamassassin, would you mind giving me some tips as to how you use it and how you train it to recognise your customers spam? Thanks, Lisa Casey
