It's been mentioned several times in the past to limit f.i. memory usage 
of spamd, so that it cannot run "out of control". But without any 
real-world examples. How do I do this?
There is an /etc/security/limits.conf file one my Suse Linux systems which 
purports to be for this kind of thing. But I don't get it to work. F.i.
spamd  hard    rss 30000
in that file doesn't have any effect, although the spamd process uses more 
memory.
Do I need to add a PAM file for spamd or similar, if so how should it 
look?
