Can't make Task Management work in Solr 9 and 10

All attempts to enable task tracking using query parameters "canCancel=true" 
and "queryUUID=5" (or without queryUUID) have failed.
Requests for task list (tasks/list) return empty set:

Solr and ZooKeeper logging at TRACE (or DEBUG) level has not revealed apparent 
problems with registering the task.
And ZooKeeper folders of Overseer "overseer/collection-queue-work", 
"overseer/queue" and others stayed empty.

Please advise if you had any success in Solr task tracking and cancelation.
