Hi, folks,

     I worked around (for the moment) my install problems and get this
message on starting solr up:

*** [WARN] *** Your open file limit is currently 1024.

 It should be set to 65000 to avoid operational disruption.

 If you no longer wish to see this warning, set SOLR_ULIMIT_CHECKS to false
in your profile or solr.in.sh

*** [WARN] *** Your Max Processes Limit is currently 14430.

 It should be set to 65000 to avoid operational disruption.

 If you no longer wish to see this warning, set SOLR_ULIMIT_CHECKS to false
in your profile or solr.in.sh

     However:

# sysctl -p

fs.file-max = 65000

kernel.pid_max = 65000

     Are these WARNings accurate? I guess I could just disable them, but
that seems sloppy.

Thanks,

     John A
