Hello List,
we have a new issue we didn't see before. Our Sogo installation with AD
lookup sends faulty emails.
The german umlaute will be delivered like this:
äöü instead of äöü
If we send out thunderbird mails we don't have that issue. Any hints -
maybe Webserver encoding?
Thank you for your time
Ubuntu 12.04
$ uname -a
Linux groupware 3.2.0-27-generic #43-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 6 14:25:57 UTC
2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ dpkg -l | grep sogo
ii sogo 2.2.10-1
ii sogo-dbg 2.2.10-1
$ dpkg -l | grep apache
ii apache2 2.2.22-13.2+deb7u4
I could not reproduce this.
We use openLDAP as authorization source, but that should not matter for
sending emails.
Could you open a bug report at http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/ please?
Include there, which language and locale settings you use on your SOGo
server.
And provide an example email with that behaviour.
Kind regards,
Christian Mack
