Ah yes, i remember having read that thread...
I dropped the table sogo_cache_folder_myusername and now it works much
better:
root@mail:/etc/sogo# sogo-tool manage-eas listdevices myusername
<0x0x1fd2530[SOGoCache]> Cache cleanup interval set every 300.000000 seconds
<0x0x1fd2530[SOGoCache]> Using host(s) 'localhost' as server(s)

I assume the cache entries in table sogo_cache_folder_≤username> are
stored with c_type=127 --> see
