Just to keep the list updated, in case anyone ever runs into the same problem:
It seems that the problem lies with the IMAP server, which responds to many 
IMAP commands only with the untagged response and seems to forget to return the 
tagged OK response. As this seems to violate RFC 3501, I do not think that this 
is something SOGo should be made to handle.
