Hi, sorry if I come back with an "old" question.
I really have big trouble with Apple Contacts.app not showing the "personal" address book. Instead it lists the "global" LDAP address book, which normally is not listed. Workaround is adding a new address book and copying over all data from "personal" to newly created one. Furthermore you can not search the global address book in Contacts.app. This is tracked here: http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=2099 I am stuck on this. It is open since mid of November last year.
