Hi list,

I've been running debian nightly for a while fairly successfully. I lost my sogo config on upgrade today.

ls -l /home/sogo/GNUstep/Defaults/.GNUstepDefaults
-rw------- 1 sogo sogo 276 May 11 17:37 /home/sogo/GNUstep/Defaults/.GNUstepDefaults

cat /home/sogo/GNUstep/Defaults/.GNUstepDefaults
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//GNUstep//DTD plist 0.9//EN" "http://www.gnustep.org/plist-0_9.xml";>
<plist version="0.9">
<dict>
<key>NSGlobalDomain</key>
<dict>
</dict>
<key>sogod</key>
<dict>
</dict>
</dict>

Of course I should have backed up this file, and didn't. It's not a big deal to recreate, just a pain. I'm hoping that it actually was you guys that overwrote the file, since after reboot, fsck.xfs is failing to run, xfs_repair returns no errors, and the LVM partition mounts fine... hopefully stuff isn't disappearing on me.

If you can confirm, I'd be happy (so I know something worse isn't happening). If this behavior could be modified (assuming package fault), I'd be ecstatic... Lesson learned (again). Back up your configuration files.

Regards,

James
