This is not a SOGo issue but a Samba issue.

Check the Samba Wiki:

https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Windows7

I've not been able to make Samba a full-domain controller in our environment. While we can successfully setup user accounts, setting up machine accounts fails with the same error, "RPC server is unavailable"

There are some hints that it works with 32-bit but not 64-bit. Windows 7 will not join a Samba domain reliably.

Hi all,
I set up the following environment using the SOGo 2.0.0rc1
documentation on a fresh Ubuntu 11.10 server installation:

Samba4, SOPE, SOGo and SOGo OpenChange connector compiled from SVN and
Monotone trunks. I modified samba4_ver.sh to get Samba4 4.0.0alpha19.
Bind 9.8 (installed from Ubuntu 12.10 repositories) and configured
following /usr/local/samba/private/named.txt
SOGo is configured to use the underlying MySQL/Postfix/Dovecot environment.

I could easily set up a mail profile from a Windows7 client, the
authentication works flawlessly and I can manage emails, contacts and
appointments from Outlook.

I'd like to use the SOGo machine as a full domain controller, but
while I get an "RPC server unavailable" error, just after confirming
the Administrator password.

When trying the join, nothing is logged in
/usr/local/samba/var/log/openchange.log, but using a wrong password
returns an "unknown user or invalid password" error, so the
authentication works.

Any hint?

Alberto
