Hello Simon,

are you trying to use already existing tables and combine information from different tables so that SOGo can use them to authenticate users?
Maybe CONTAC and VIEWs can help you to solve your probleme: http://www.tutorialspoint.com/mysql/mysql-concat-function.htm (Never used it, its just an assumption)
However, I don't know if this is a possible solutions that works with SOGo.

Im also using postfix, dovecot (virtual users) and SOGo. All informations for user authentication are stored in one table in the SOGo database (mysql).

Hope that helps you.

Regards,
Andreas.

Hello,

im going to install SOGo on a Ubuntu 11.10 V-Server. On the server runs Postfix and Dovecot with virtual-users in a mysql-database. Now I would connect SOGo with the database, but the problem is the LoginFieldNames-parameter: In my MySQL-Database are only columns width the username and the id of the domain in a other table.
In the mysql-syntax it is possible to "JOIN" the two columns to one, to have the complete e-mail-adress. Is it possible to do this with SOGo? Can I edit the MySQL-Syntax?

Thanks for helping!

Simon

(Sorry for my bad englisch, I'm a german apprentice ;-))

BTW: If I do Authentication with MySQL, is it possible to use SOGo without LDAP?
