Maybe this is a bug I also experienced in a multi domains setup evironment (but I didn't file a bug report yet): The URL scheme of the links in the UI might not be consistent. I experienced that it changed between the URL scheme for links in a single domain environment and the URL scheme used in multi domains environment. Maybe you should have a look on this this.
