Maybe I have another issue. I have been fighting with openldap to get the ppolicy enabled for about a week now and finally made headway yesterday.
Basically I am able to login to SOGo with the user and password. Then after I attempt to change the password, even though SOGo web interface shows it was successful, the logs show the "change password - ldap_find_control call failed" line. After that SOGo goes berserk with renewing IMAP4 password lines like this: May 26 15:00:26 sogod: SOGo watchdog [21453]: <0x0x27f2210[NGLdapConnection]> change password - ldap_find_control call failed 127.0.0.1 - - [26/May/2010:15:00:26 GMT] "POST /SOGo/so/changePassword HTTP/1.1" 204 0/72 0.052 - - 0 May 26 15:00:54 sogod: SOGo watchdog [21453]: [ERROR] <0x0x27568d0[NGImap4ConnectionManager]> IMAP4 login failed: host=10.8.2.50, user=dbrooks, pwd=yes url=imap://[email protected]/ base=(nil) base-class=(nil)) = <0x0x2403d10[NGImap4Client]: login=dbrooks(pwd) socket=<NGActiveSocket[0x0x2792d70]: mode=rw address=<0x0x21ecc40[NGInternetSocketAddress]: host=webmail.mdah.state.ms.us port=41736> connectedTo=<0x0x27ecea0[NGInternetSocketAddress]: host=10.8.2.50 port=143>>> May 26 15:00:54 sogod: SOGo watchdog [21453]: <0x027DF810[SOGoMailAccount]:dbrooks_A_mdah_D_state_D_ms_D_us> renewing imap4 password May 26 15:00:57 sogod: SOGo watchdog [21453]: [ERROR] <0x0x27568d0[NGImap4ConnectionManager]> IMAP4 login failed: I don't see anything blatant in the LDAP logs either. This is on a test system and I am debating if I want to start from scratch or not. I am leaning toward this being mostly an ldap issue now but would like to hear from anyone else that has this functional with SOGo and OpenLDAP. I must be missing something small. -- Donny B.
