The first problem is to create a PDF/A file. There is some code in the
examples on creating a PDF/A-1b file, which can be changed to create a
PDF/A-3b file.
The second problem is to add the XML files, these are file attachments,
there is also an example in the examples subproject.
Having said all that, I asked ChatGPT about it and the answer looks
convincing. I asked it "Show me some PDFBox java code on how to add a
Factur-X XML file to a PDF."
