I agree, that sounds likely. I don't know enough about these Xerox MFPs
to know whether it's possible to change the encryption settings. I
requested a Jira account but was denied; if one of the people with admin
access to Jira can let me know to re-request I'll do that.

I have a feeling the document is using an unsupported form of encryption,
but it will likely require debugging the source to find out.
