Can you build from source and run your application? If yes, change
pdfbox\src\main\java\org\apache\pdfbox\io\ScratchFileBuffer.java
and add
IOUtils.closeQuietly(pageHandler);
near the end. Does this make things better? (It changes nothing in build)
