Please explain the issue with more details - what did you do, what happened. Please attach relevant logs, e.g. from /var/log/ovirt-engine/setup/* . Generally speaking, you do not need to create databases or users manually before restore. Using --provision* options should do that for you. In principle, depending on exact conditions, it indeed can happen that you'll be prompted for DB credentials. It's hard to guess, though, what was the exact issue, without more details and logs.
