Theoretically you should be able to run Intel-based VMs on AMD - but this will
complicate the stuff.
You need to rebuild your initramfs after booting from the rescue menu (linux),
but I'm not sure for windows.
Also, you should try with a less important VM first.
Are you going to export your VMs as OVA or you will try to directly pull the
VMs ?
