Actually, if you have the latest oVirt 4, you can just do that from the UI.
just go to disks tab and select "upload" -> "start".

Before doing that, make sure to make your browser trust oVirt's CA by
downloading its CA certificate from:
https://{your_engine's_URI}/ovirt-engine/services/pki-resource?resource=ca-certificate&format=X509-PEM-CA
<https://engineaaviram.usersys.redhat.com:8443/ovirt-engine/services/pki-resource?resource=ca-certificate&format=X509-PEM-CA>
