Hi, I'm not sure about this, but in previous version in 3.4, Live snapshot used to fail due to qemu-kvm package. and as a workaround i used the following, This is for Centos:
Currently live snapshot creation fails: Cause: qemu-kvm package available on CentOS repositories does not support. Solution: remove qemu-kvm package and install qemu-kvm-rhev from http://jenkins.ovirt.org/view/All/job/qemu-kvm-rhev_create-rpms_el6/lastSuccessfulBuild/ Not sure if the same workaround still valid for 3.5 release.
