Hi, actually I think your description is far to shorthanded for everyone except for people who already know how to delete a storage connection and how to do it via REST.
However there is a quite accurate wiki site with a more detailed explanation: http://www.ovirt.org/Features/Manage_Storage_Connections#Delete_connection_.28DELETE.29 But it didn't work when I tested it the last time in 3.1.x But it should work in 3.3.2.
