<<SNIP>>

For those who care... incubator.apache.org rejects my mail due to my ISP's SMTP server not matching the email domain's SPF records. Most filters just assign a slightly higher "spam score" to mail where these records don't match. but Apache seem to immediately reject it. I don't have any control over the SPF records, and don't have any choice in which SMTP server I use. (Yes, I'm sure I could sign use a webmail account, but then I'd have to log in separately to check it, which I'd probably hardly ever get round to doing.)

Mark.

Gmail can be configured to behave as a POP server, and automatically download to your computer email client.
