Thank you. The challenge is clearing previously set fixed width
definitions. If you have a .CSV with 240 characters per line and
20-columns. Then a new .CSV with 96 characters prt line with 5 columns
to import. The second file import has the columnar selections from the
first. All the way out to the 240 character point. But since the second
file is 96-char/line, you cannot scroll any wider then the file. Missing
the 240-96 character field and associated column delimiters. To access
the excess, you must edit the .CSV with additional characters to force
line scrolling and enable the deletion of errant, formerly defined
columnar delineation points/marks.
I am not seeing where these delimiter points/marks are/can be cleared
pre-import. This feature seems to be an enhancement in V3.3.0-WIN.
I think this may be an unintended consequence of an improvement to save
text import dialog settings.

The OpenOffice.org project is currently moving to Apache Software
Foundation and the issue tracker is not setup yet.
I'll find out where this can be filed or if something has already been
filed.
Best regards,
