Masha, Not certain what you mean by 'safe Internet' since you've got an email on this support list so have at least some Internet access.
If you're worried a download might be corrupted, a digital signature can be used to verify that what is downloaded is what is expected. First step is to access only the official website, openoffice.apache.org, and use the appropriate download links found there. Guidance to verify signatures is provided on the download web page. If it's a concern that Internet use is being monitored then use a VPN, that will prevent monitoring. If it's something else, then please let us know.
